*RECALL- Dog Food

I found this while just researching my own issue

MARS PETCARE US ANNOUNCES VOLUNTARY RECALL OF LIMITED RANGE OF PEDIGREE® BRAND WET DOG FOOD

The lot codes indicated below should not be sold or consumed.
Affected product was distributed to retail customers throughout the United States. Mars Petcare US is working with all of our distributors and retail customers to ensure that the recalled products are no longer sold and are removed from inventory.

Each product will have a lot code printed on the end of the can that begins with 209, 210, 211 or 212 and a Best Before date that falls between 2/24/2014 and 3/23/2014.

MY ISSUES?

Bronx and I went for a little one-on-one time this evening
with a good ol trip to the Pet Store.
(OK OK... what "REALLY" happened was Mom waited way to long to get dog food and Bronx was on his last feeding.) I guess I didn't want to face the reality of PAYING FOR DOG FOOD.
We were finally out of the 10 bags I obtained for FREE last year
and I was beyond depressed.

PICKY comes No Where Near the words I would use to describe Bronx the Crazed Puggle. This is literally the ONLY FOOD he will eat.
 PERIOD!

I scour the shelves for his bag and there is NOTHING to be found.   No little bag, No big bag, No other flavor...
WHAT is happening?

I inquire with an associate and find out it has been DISCONTINUED...
NOOOOOOOOOO
This is my dog's LIFE LINE!
What do I DO NOW?

I guess I get  back to finding an emergency back-up plan...

Just wanted to stop and post this recall information  I found for my DOG LOVERS out there. Hopefully you can not only protect your pooch, but also protect yourself from the headache of finding empty shelves like I did.
