Walgreen's New Balance Rewards Program

Walgreen's started their new Balance Rewards Program this past Sunday. It is still new to me, but here are some of the details for those that didn't know or are confused on how it works. So far I'm liking it, points seem to add up fast and I see many opportunities in the future for us to get paid to shop.I'm excited!

  •  This Program is FREE to everyone!

  • You have a few different option's when signing up.
In-store, Online, Mobile App or by calling Customer Service at 855-225-0400.
  •   Get exclusive sales that are only available to Balance Reward Members.
  • Receive 500 points for every prescription and immunization.
  • Each week Walgreen's will offer a variety of items that you can earn points for.
For example:
Glade Scented Oil Warmers - 3/$4 + 1,000 Reward points WYB 3
That means if you buy 3 you will receive 1,000 points on your card.
1,000 points is equal to $1.
Sounds pretty easy right?
This is where the oppurtunity for getting paid to shop will come in. We can still use coupons on items, and still earn Register Rewards.
So say you have (3) $1/1 Coupons to use on above scenario and that you will receive a $1 Register Reward.
Buy (3) Glade Scented Oil Warmers = $4
- Use 3 $1/1 MQ
Pay - $1 + Receive $1 RR + 1,000 Reward Points ($1)
That means you just paid yourself $1 to shop. ♥
  •  There does not seem to be a limit on how many points you can earn for a specific item unless it is stated in the add. So if it says earn 500 bonus points on one item and you buy 4 of that item you will receive 2,000 bonus points. If it says limit 3, then you would only receive 1,500 points.
  • Redeem your reward points In-Store or Online with as few as 5,000 points. Once you have 5,000 points or more all you have to do is tell your cashier you want to apply your rewards to your purchase. Easy as that!

 Get it?
I hope so because explaining things has never been my strong point. I'm more of the hands on type. So if you are confused or have any questions feel free to send me a message.
